What Happen in September?

Bend, OR at 5,500 feet I arrived at Wanoga Snow Play Area early, a couple days before the rest of the group arrived. Two enormous parking lots virtually empty... At over a mile high, the temperatures were not conducive to streaking at sunrise... or high noon... or sunset! DANG, it was freakin' COLD! Enjoyed dancing in Bend (about 15 miles east and down the mountain) and mountain biking (I can pretend) on my hybrid bike. There were some very serious mountain bike trails that I rode and it was a blast... except for the face plant I accomplished the first day! Crater Lake National Park McCloud, CA Burney Falls State Park I stayed here for one night ($28 YIKES!) on my way south toward Reno, NV. The falls were amazing and the park was pristine.
