What Happen in September?

 I arrived at Wanoga Snow Play Area early, a couple days before the rest of the group arrived. Two enormous parking lots virtually empty...
At over a mile high, the temperatures were not conducive to streaking at sunrise... or high noon... or sunset! DANG, it was freakin' COLD!
Enjoyed dancing in Bend (about 15 miles east and down the mountain) and mountain biking (I can pretend) on my hybrid bike. There were some very serious mountain bike trails that I rode and it was a blast... except for the face plant I accomplished the first day!

 Burney Falls State Park

 I stayed here for one night ($28 YIKES!) on my way south toward Reno, NV. The falls were amazing and the park was pristine.
Horton Creek Campground - Bishop, CA
The Amazing Rainless Rainbow! Actually created by the moisture from the clouds as they slowly drifted over the mountain peak.

I got a gig at Aaron Schat's Roadhouse Restaurant on Saturday before I left for Lone Pine, CA. About 25 WIN members came in support and many danced to the music. It was blast!

April Gigs & Getting Ready for the Next Journey

Finally sold the house! Everything seems to be falling into place. I might say "finally" falling into place, but... hey, maybe the time is just right. After closing on 7 homes in the last 3 weeks (mine included), I'm definitely ready to move on and hit the road. California Finally!

Horton Creek Campground - Bishop CA I moved southward ahead of the WIN group arriving in Bishop at the end of September. The campground location was wonderful, about 10 miles out of town with magnificent views... The first rainless Rainbow I've ever seen... created by the moisture in the clouds rolling  over the mountain peaks. I went into Bishop after I got settled into the campground and got booked for a gig at Aaron Schat's Roadhouse Restaurant for Saturday night. A large group of WINs came to support me and to dance. This is a very dancing group! Over the 3 hours of singing songs, I performed a lot of my originals. Tuttle Creek Campground - Lone Pine CA The next day I headed to Tuttle Creek Campground... another amazing location with spectacular views of the mountains to the west and the valley to the east.
